Scott Wheeler, Funeral Home Manager

Scott served Eastern North Carolina families for more than 19 years before joining our staff in February 2017. He works hard to ensure each family celebrates the life and legacy of their loved one. With a pleasant personality and a smile on his face, he is always willing to help.

Johnnie Moore, Funeral Director/Embalmer

Johnnie, who joined our staff in February 2017, has served families across eastern and central North Carolina for many years. He was born and raised in the small North Carolina town of Tarboro. His funeral service career began in 1988 during his sophomore year at East Carolina University.

Regina Logan, Funeral Director & Embalmer

Regina is from the Philadelphia/New Jersey area where she served families for more than 17 years. She moved to North Carolina in October 2015 and joined our staff in March 2016. She understands the value of family, and enjoys spending her spare time with her children and grandchildren.

Michelle L. Maddage, Funeral Administrator

Michelle enjoys offering compassion and respect to families, while keeping their administrative process as smooth and comfortable as possible. She and her husband, Jeffrey, have two daughters, Cassandra and Kayla Mary, and have called Clayton home since 2016. Michelle also is a rescue mom to Lun, a black lab mix, and two cats, Nova and Sweetie.

Judy Wilkins, Funeral Receptionist

Judy began at Montlawn in 1993 with many years of secretarial and office administration experience. She enjoys being a support to staff, as well as meeting and greeting our families. She is a member of Wake Forest Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and enjoys gardening, cooking, reading and spending time with family and friends.


Amira Frantz, Cemetery Manager

Amira contributes more than 27 years of experience in the cemetery service industry, and joined Montlawn in 2014. She is passionate about serving her families and is devoted to teaching her team the benefits of pre-planning. She grew up in Michigan and lives with her husband, Keith, in Apex. They are active members of Colonial Baptist Church where they serve as greeters. Amira enjoys gardening, but their 18 grandchildren are what fills her life with joy.

Sheila Coates, Family Service Professional

Sheila joined our Montlawn staff in December 2015 with more than 30 years of managerial, retail and customer service experience. Known for being caring and compassionate, she feels honored to assist families with their pre-need planning and helping them during their time of need. The Raleigh native is a member of Chapel of Hope Pentecostal Church in Clayton, and is a frequent fundraiser, blood donor and supporter of missions and community causes for children. She and her husband Ricky, of 30 years, have one daughter and a dog named Ginger.

Nancy Fullerton, Family Service Professional

Nancy has worked at Montlawn since March 2015 and is passionate about helping people achieve peace of mind through pre-planning. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa but has lived in the Carolinas for more than 20 years. She resides in Cary and is a member of Grace Bible Fellowship. She and her husband have three children, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Her interests include reading and horses, but she is most happy when spending time with her family.

André Livingston, Family Service Professional

Before joining our team in 2012, André received a Culinary Arts/ Business degree. He finds great satisfaction in meeting new people and helping families through helping families pre-plan at Montlawn. The active area resident stays busy through church and community council meetings, and has been involved with the Boys & Girls Club and YMCA. His passions include photography and the martial arts.

Michael Oakley, Family Service Professional

Michael has been dedicated to helping families understand the importance of advanced planning since joining our team in 2015. He is a graduate of William G. Enloe High School and studied at Kings Business College, North Carolina Central University and Shaw University Divinity School. Born and raised in Raleigh, Michael is active in the community through the Lott Carey Global Mission, NAACP, and as an American Red Cross volunteer. He is married with three children, two grandchildren, two dogs, and enjoys reading, walking and traveling in his free time.

Brandon Sellars, Family Service Professional

First-hand experience in pre-planning brought Brandon to Montlawn in 2016. His grandparents planned ahead for their deaths and he saw the positive impact it had on his grieving family. Brandon changed his career goals and now thrives on helping others to benefit in the same way. The Greensboro native graduated from Western Guilford High School and North Carolina Central University where he was a member of the golf and baseball teams. He currently lives in Briar Creek and serves as a volunteer with the City of Durham's after school programs. In his free time, he enjoys riding motorcycles and ATVs.

Jeri Stroup, Family Service Professional

Jeri has loved serving families since joining our staff in December 2014. It is more than a job to her. She and her Raleigh-native husband, Chip, are third-generation property owners at Montlawn. Guiding others through the pre-planning process is her calling. Jeri earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and marketing from Rowan University in New Jersey. She and Chip are the proud parents of two beautiful children and two toy poodles. They are fans of NC State and the Carolina Hurricanes and enjoy landscaping, gardening, and traveling with family.

Amanda Brenton, Cemetery Administrator

Amanda began working in this field in 2014 and holds a bachelor's in business administration. The Raleigh resident enjoys that her role at Montlawn allows her to be part of a compassionate team that is dedicated to helping families.

Beth Larson, Administrative Assistant

Originally from up-state New York and more recently South Florida, Beth brought over 20 years of administrative experience to Montlawn in 2017. She holds a BFA degree in communication design from Rochester Institute of Technology, and is an active member of Colonial Baptist Church. Four grown children and a big dog grace her life. She also has a heart for military troops, the Boy Scouts of America, school band programs and travel.

Sarah Young, Cemetery Receptionist

Sarah has worked for Montlawn since June 2014. She is a true people-person and loves interacting with a diverse group of individuals. She is a native of Laurinburg, and is involved in our community through church and the American Red Cross. She enjoys reading, crafts and spending time with her family. She is married and has two children, four grandchildren and is the "pet parent" of their Westie terrier, Dixie.
